Brown Sugar, Brown Butter Shortbread

I normally can't stand short, crisp, sandy cookies, but these are absolute perfection. (And artery clogging, at the same time)

I'm thinking of incorporating brown butter into my vegetable and fish dishes. The scent is intoxicating.

looks yummy. in one of my old bon appetit magazines they did a whole section on brown butter--I should dig in my papers and see if I have some recipes!
